At a musically uneventful Eurovision Song Contest, it was mainly the outfits that provided highlights-or at least talking points. The unofficial theme of the evening: BDSM

The start was Tamta, from Cyprus, who performed her song ' Replay ' in a black lacquer and leather outfit consisting of platform overknees with straps, matching gloves and a crop leather jacket. The dancers took her off after a short time, exorcising a nude-colored bodysuit embellished with transparent glass beads underneath. With so much jolted sex appeal, you might have thought Madonna had already strayed onto the stage.

On Twitter at times, the look provided more talking points than the song. One user suspected Katy Perry had donated it to her after her Met Gala appearance. Another joked that Madonna's appearance probably had to be canceled, as Tamta stole her outfit after all.

Before Madonna made her grand entrance, after all, Conchita Wurst, who added another look to her repertoire of dazzling outfits in a medley of ESC all-stars, somewhere between glamorous diva and Village People.

About Iceland's contribution Hatari, with her metal sound and bondage-style as birds of paradise had recommended herself from the service, no one spoke anymore.

Eleni Foureira, who helped Cyprus to second place at the ESC last year with plenty of sex appeal, also put on a skintight outfit at this year's medley. The nude-colored jumpsuit created the illusion as if Eleni were wearing nothing more than the three strategically placed, silver stars on the body.

Everyone had been waiting for her performance: Madonna still sang her classic "Like a Prayer" wrapped in a flushing cowl. For her new song "Wake Up" from her album "Madame X," the motto was space pirate: The pop queen wore an eye patch for the silver corset and shoulder pads in armor look.

She had already worn it during her interview a few minutes before her performance. For this, she had been conveniently placed directly in front of Tamta, which invited further comparisons of the two singers.
