Google said in a publication of the company's Android platform, via Twitter: «For the questions of Huawei users regarding our steps that comply with the actions of our government, we assure you that services like Google Play will continue to work in your current devices. "
Huawei criticizes Washington
The British Metro website reported that Google decided to suspend transactions involving the transfer of equipment and software to the Chinese company, such as Android system updates.
Last week, Huawei sharply criticized the US government for what it described as tight restrictions on its products coming into the United States market.
This came in a statement by the Chinese company specializing in the manufacture of telecommunication devices and towers, following President Donald Trump's announcement of the "international economic emergency" law, to activate an executive order that would counter espionage of communications.
In its statement, Huawei said that it is ready to enter into discussions with the US government, with a view to arriving at procedures and mechanisms to ensure the security and privacy of telecommunication products to the latter.
